BARTLETT – Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett, located at 2986 Kate Bond Road, will host a stroke support group for patients, caregivers, and family members on April 15th at one p.m. in the hospital’s Magnolia Room.
The group will offer attendees the opportunity to meet other stroke survivors and caregivers, learn how to manage and overcome new challenges, and share resources. This month’s focus will be the importance of physical and occupational therapy in stroke recovery.
Stroke is the fifth leading cause of death in the United States, and nearly 800,000 Americans will suffer a stroke this year.
