Bartlett City Schools
We were honored to celebrate our February Bartlett City Board of Education recognitions at last week’s meeting!
Our Board meeting began with a special treat, beautiful performances by the BCS Elementary Honor Choir! These talented students, (pictured), from across our district also led the meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance and sang the National Anthem.
Following their performances, we recognized our Elmore Park Middle School Boys’ Basketball team. On February 15, 2025, the Elmore Park Middle School Boys’ Basketball team captured the TMSAA State Championship, marking an incredible 3-peat!
With an undefeated 31-0 season, they extended their winning streak to 96 games. Congrats to Head Coach Jevonte Holmes, the entire coaching staff, and this phenomenal team!
We also recognized, Rivercrest Elementary School Principal Sharonda Rose. The Tennessee Department of Education named Sharonda Rose the 2024-2025 West Grand Division Principal of the Year!
This prestigious award recognizes her outstanding leadership and dedication to student success. She credits this achievement to the supportive Rivercrest community, including its dedicated staff, engaged parents, and hardworking students. Our Board and Superintendent Dr. David Stephens proudly presented Ms. Rose with a plaque and certificate to commemorate this incredible honor.
