Language org gives Briarcrest teacher top honor

Catherine Childs at Briarcrest Christian School has been named Tennessee Foreign Language Teaching Association 2018 Teacher of the Year.
Patsy Lanigan, chair of the TFLTA Teacher of the Year Committee, said, “We are so proud to honor such an excellent teacher who has contributed so much to our profession.”
Childs will be honored formally at the Awards Banquet on Friday, Nov. 2, at the state conference.
