Karen Aspinwall Named New Director of Radiology Services at Saint Francis Hospital – Bartlett

BARTLETT, TENN. – Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett recently appointed Karen Aspinwall (pictured) as the hospital’s new Director of Radiology Services.

In this role, Aspinwall is responsible for overseeing the hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging services, including X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT) Scanning, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and Mammography.

“Karen is a well-regarded clinical team leader who brings more than 10 years of experience in radiography to her new position,” said Sherwin Stewart, CEO of Saint Francis-Bartlett. “Her experience working with multidisciplinary teams and her commitment to enhancing patient safety and quality of care align well with our efforts to make Saint Francis-Bartlett the provider of choice in our community. I am excited to welcome her to our clinical leadership team.”

Aspinwall comes to Saint Francis-Bartlett from Physicians Surgical Hospitals in Amarillo, Texas, where she served as Imaging Manager. Before that, she was the Laboratory and Imaging Supervisor at Mercy Hospital Booneville in Booneville, Arkansas. Previously, she served as the Clinical Lead and Radiologic Technologist at MedExpress Urgent Care in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and as the Radiologic Technologist and Medical Assistant at Pointer Trail Family Clinic in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Aspinwall earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiography, her Bachelor of Science degree in Imaging Science Management, and her Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration, all at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.
