City of Bartlett & Staff Reports
It’s time for the 2025 Bartlett Festival, BBQ Contest & Car Show this weekend – Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4, in W. J. Freeman Park – located at 2629 Bartlett Boulevard. It’s the perfect place to spend an autumn weekend.
The event kicks-off this Friday evening, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., (live music starts at 6 p.m.). The fun continues on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Judge Freeman Marr Panther Pride 5k run will kick things off on Saturday morning at 8:00 am, followed by some great local music, arts & crafts, a car show, children’s activities, the awards for the MBN sanctioned BBQ cooking contest, concessions and much, much more.
The Freeman Marr 5K is for runners and walkers of all ages and experience levels, from the runner or walker looking to finish their first 5K, to the avid runner looking for a new fun race. So, make plans to come participate and support Bartlett High Athletics.
Not only does this community event have Free Admission, but will offer Free Shuttle Bus rides (as follows):

Mustangs of Memphis 44th Annual Car Show
Entry fee is $30 per vehicle the day of the show, with awards beginning at noon. This show is open to all makes and models of cars, trucks and motorcycles.
There will be Sponsors Choice awards given by participating sponsors, a poker walk, 50/50 drawing, silent auction, music and great food nearby.
In addition, each entry will receive digital access to the professional photo taken of their vehicle.
All show vehicles must enter the park by turning off Stage Rd. onto Bartlett Rd. and following the directional signs. Please Note: You may no longer enter from Bartlett Blvd. Look for the car show signs and be mindful of festival pedestrians when entering.
Proceeds from the car show go to Memphis Oral School for the Deaf.
