Evening of Excellence Recognizes Teachers

Batlett City Schools

We are proud to continue recognizing three of our outstanding Teachers of the Year. During the second annual “Evening of Excellence” reception, educators from the six municipal school districts in Shelby County were celebrated for their dedication and achievements.

This special event not only honored the commitment of these remarkable teachers but also highlighted the collaborative spirit and shared goals within our educational community.

Representing Bartlett City Schools:

Torie Randall – Altruria Elementary School

Netasha Nelson – Appling Middle School

Jessie Steele – Bartlett High School

Each of these educators has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, leaving a lasting impact on their students and our community. Their passion and accomplishments serve as powerful reminders of the essential role teachers play in shaping lives.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Scouts from Scouting America, who opened the evening with the presentation of colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, and the invocation. A special thank you as well to emcee John Aitken for leading the evening with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Finally, we are deeply grateful to our generous sponsors who made this evening possible: Bank of Bartlett, A2H, Pickler Companies, Renaissance Group, 4FDesign, Knowledge Tree, Higginbotham, and Amro Music. Your support reflects the strong community commitment to education and the enduring impact of teachers.
