Staff Reports

It’s almost time for everyone to gather at the A. Keith McDonald Pavilion at W.J Freeman Park for the City’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza, but this year the City will be partnering with the Bartlett Lions Club, and introducing a special egg hunt for those who have visual impairments!
The Bartlett Lions Club will be hosting a Beeping Egg Hunt, where visually impaired participants can search for eggs that have an internal beeper. Each egg can be exchanged for a gift bag with treats and candies.
For special needs participants, there will also be Eggs with long poles to allow participants to locate them while using assistance devices.
This event is free to all children and adults, who are Visually Impaired or who have Special Needs.
The Beeping Egg Hunt will take place after the traditional children’s egg hunt.
Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny, who has graciously agreed to launch the hunt and will be available for pictures with everyone.
