BARTLETT HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRINCIPAL

We are pleased to announce that Michael Kreeger has been selected as the new Vice Principal at Bartlett High School, effective at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.

Mr. Kreeger transitions from his current role as Assistant Principal and brings with him nearly 30 years of educational experience, a deep understanding of Bartlett High’s community, and a longstanding MICHAEL KREEGER commitment to student success.

Mr. Kreeger earned his Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and also holds a certification in Educational Leadership from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Mr. Kreeger first came to Bartlett High School with over 27 years of experience in education.

He began his teaching career in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, before relocating to the Memphis area where he became a teacher and later an administrator at Bolton High School for 20 years. He was instrumental in helping open Lakeland Middle Preparatory School within the Lakeland, Tennessee school system. He also served as an assistant principal at Lakeland Prep serving in that role for five years.

“I have know Michael for nearly 25 years, since we were both science teachers at Bolton High School, and I am excited to see him step into this new role at Bartlett High School,” said Principal Shannon Abraham. “His extensive experience, strong leadership, and ability to connect with both students and staff is a tremendous asset to our school.”

As Vice Principal, Mr. Kreeger will continue to serve as a key leader on the administrative team, working to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and opportunity for all Bartlett High students.
