At 6:16 a.m. on September 19, the Bartlett Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Quail Ridge Apartments on Egypt Central – the largest residential structure fire in Bartlett’s history.
The Faith based community in Bartlett jumped into action immediately, gathering and organizing aid for the vicitms of the fire.
Seven local churches and faith groups have teamed up to collect needed items for those who lost everything in the apartment fire at the Quail Ridge Apartments.
Pastor Johnny Byrd from Legacy Church, and an entire group of churches, (Legacy Church, Ellendale Baptist Church, Eternal Bread Ministries, New Hope Christian Church, Care Center, Bartlett Baptist, Quail Ridge Church of Christ, and more), are working out of Quail Ridge Church of Christ with the Quail Ridge Apartment Relief Effort. They are accepting donations at Quail Ridge Church of Christ, 6364 Egypt Central. Items that are most needed are socks, undergarments in all sizes for both sexes, toiletries, bedding, furniture and phone chargers. They are also accepting donations of gift cards, such as Walmart, Kroger, etc.
Pastor Johnny Byrd from Legacy Church, and the churches working with the Quail Ridge Apartment Relief Effort, want to thank the following businesses for providing meals for the displaced families, as well as, the volunteers working at the donation center.
