At the recent Board of Mayor and Aldermen Meeting, Mayor David Parsons presented 13-year-old Jack Phelps a Certificate of Valor for his probable life saving act of pulling a 2-year-old from a pond in April of this year. We are proud of your courage and salute your heroism.
