The Arc Mid-South’s Respite Weekend Retreat: 8 p.m. check-in on Friday through 4 p.m. Sunday for multiple sessions (May 11-13, June 8-10, July 26-29, Aug. 17-19, Sept. 14-16, Oct. 19-21, Nov. 16-18 And Dec. 7-9) at locations in Millington or Cordova. Designed for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities who are age 8 or older and who are capable of participating in a group setting. Memphis Zoo Camp: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays May 29-Aug. 3 (closed July 4) at the Memphis Zoo. Campers will learn about animals while participating in games, crafts, tours, keeper chats, live animal visits and more. Parents must provide a non-refrigerated, non-microwavable lunch. Sizzlin’ Summer Camp: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. for multiple sessions (June 4-8, June 11-15, June 18-22, June 25-29, July 2-6 but excluding July 4, July 9-13, July 16-20, July 23-27, July 30-Aug. 3 and Aug. 6-10) at Bartlett Recreation Center, 7700 Flaherty Place, Bartlett. Designed for ages 6-12. Focuses on sportsmanship and fundamentals of sports and games. Includes weekly field trip, activities in and around the BRC, swimming and the Splash Pad. Singleton’s 2018 Summer Day Camp: 7 a.m.-6 p.m. June 4-Aug. 10 at Singleton Community Center, 7266 3rd Road, Bartlett. Designed for ages 5-12 (must have completed kindergarten). Singleton’s 2018 Teen Camp: 7 a.m.-6 p.m. June 4-Aug. 10 at Singleton Community Center, 7266 3rd Road, Bartlett. Designed for ages 13-15. The teens will be actively involved in planning their daily activities, including games, field trips, community service and classes on topics such as pottery, computer, cooking and art. Memphis Athletic Ministries Summer Academy: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. June 4-July 24 at five Memphis locations. Designed for children in grades 3-8. NJTL Tennis Memphis Camp (non-competitive): Weekdays June 4-July 20 (no camp the week of July 4) at seven sites in Memphis. Hours: 8-10 a.m. for ages 5-6 (exception: Eldon Roark location meets 9-10:30 a.m.); 8 a.m.-noon for ages up to 18 (exception: Eldon Roark location begins at 9 a.m.). National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) camp features intensive tennis instruction and the teaching of good values. “Fairy Princess” dance camp: 9 a.m.-noon for two sessions (June 4-8 and June 11-15) at Ballet on Wheels Dance School & Company, 1015 South Cooper Street Suite 200 Memphis. Designed for ages 3-6. Tennis Memphis Camp (competitive): 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. June 5-July 29 (excludes week of July 4) at Eldon Roark Tennis Center, 1500 Finley Road, Memphis. PRIZM Music Camp & International Chamber Music Festival: June 11-16 at Shady Grove Presbyterian Church (waiting list only) at 5530 Shady Grove Road in Memphis and June 18-12 at First Baptist Church, 2835 Broad Ave., Memphis. Features daily chamber music coaching; master classes in music theory, history and appreciation; recital opportunities; and (for select students) evening concerts and an orchestral performance. Collage Dance Collective summer intensive dance programs: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays July 9-21 at Hutchison School, 1740 Ridgeway Road, Memphis. “Raise the Bar” program designed for ages 9-18 and “First Position” program designed for ages 5-8.
