‘Starry Nights’ still shining
For those too busy during the rush to Christmas to enjoy a leisurely drive through Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, the Mid-South's largest holiday light show and festival on the property, Starry Nights, will remain open for two more evenings. Hours are 6-9 p.m. tonight and 6-10 p.m. Saturday night.
Starry Nights attracts more than 100,000 visitors annually to view the massive drive-through display of twinkling holiday lights, cozy campfires and visits with Santa. Fees of $15 and up apply, depending on the guest's Park membership status and size of vehicle. See details at shelbyfarmspark.org.
Mistletoe Village will remain open at the park during Starry Nights, too, offering artisans' work for sale, snacks, music and photo opportunities.
Shelby Farms also will have a Mystery Hike at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Dec. 29: Meet at the front desk of the First Tennessee Foundation Visitor Center and use clues to discover who ate Santa's cookies. See more details at shelbyfarmspark.org.
