Aydian, 16, of Bartlett earned a sticker from visiting the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile during its stop in Bartlett on Saturday. Visitors also got free wiener whistles while supplies lasted. The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile has been making tummies rumble and smiles break out since 1938 as a traveling PR firm on wheels. The drivers are called Hotdoggers and are all college graduates whose applications "cut the mustard" among the nearly 1,500 people who apply for the job each year. There are six Wienermobile teams piloting different regions of the U.S. This one spent about a week at various venues in the greater Memphis area. To "ketchup" with the Hotdoggers' next appearances, download the Wienermobile app on Apple's App Store or on Google Play. Photo by Amanda Swain.
