Autism Festival brings out smiles

Despite an overcast sky, the inaugural Autism Festival organized by Transformations Autism Treatment Center in Bartlett brought out families eager for a little fun, shopping and fellowship with relatives and neighbors.

The event, hosted from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on April 25, included shows and music, a crafts fair, food, games, face painting, a bouncy house and inflated slide and more.

Attendees also had the chance to tour the Transformations facility at scheduled times.

The event was free and open to the entire community as a community service and outreach program.
