Dancing With The Survivors celebrates a nationwide community of breast cancer survivors who thrive in their recovery and make a difference in the lives of other cancer patients.
The event will feature local breast cancer survivors or their family member representative paired with professional dancers from Fred Astaire Dance Studio – Bartlett, performing ballroom-style dances while raising money for The Pink Fund’s mission.
Tickets are $75 and are available for purchase at thepinkfund.org.
While fighting for their lives, many breast cancer patients in active treatment lose their livelihoods. Unable to work, patients often face catastrophic financial losses. The Pink Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity, provides individuals in active treatment with 90 days and up to $3,000 of financial assistance to cover non-medical expenses, such as health insurance premiums, housing, transportation and utilities.
