Fireworks sizzle for Bartlett
Be ready to see the best and brightest in Bartlett for the upcoming July 4 holiday. Bartlett’s Star Spangled Fireworks Extravaganza will be held on July 3 on the BPACC lawn.
Plan to start the night with live musical entertainment provided by the Bartlett Community Concert Band starting at 6:30 p.m., followed by Jamie Baker and the VIPs at 8:15 p.m. Other activities include a car display, games for the children, face painting, concessions and more.
Appling Road between Southern Way and Flaherty Place will close at 5 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to use Germantown Road to travel from Highway 64 (Stage Road) to Highway 70 (Summer Ave.).
Keep your votes coming for the best of Bartlett
We’ve added new categories for both merchants and the outstanding people who make Bartlett great.
Vote for your favorite teacher, the school mascot who makes you smile the biggest, and the sales clerk who went out of his way to help you in a “shopping emergency.” Vote for the place that serves the best donuts, pulled your car out of the ditch, or wheeled and dealed to get you the best-possible home mortgage. But the key word is “Vote.”
You’re got from now until July 18; the survey closes at 5 p.m.! [EDITOR’S NOTE: Earlier reports incorrectly used a different date; July 18 is correct.]
See the Readers’ Choice ballot in our printed editions or vote online.
