HTJ Lures, a Bartlett business, is helping a health charity by co-sponsoring a fishing tournament fundraiser. The second Fantasy Fishing Week, created by the grassroots initiative Casting for CDF (Chronic Disease Fund), will start June 21 in Gordon, Wis. Total funds raised go directly to Good Days from CDF, a charitable organization that provides financial assistance to patients who cannot afford needed medications. This year, the competition’s goal is to raise $2,000. Since 2008, the Chronic Disease Fund has helped 20,102 Tennessee residents. In 2013 alone, CDF helped 4,002 Tennesseans.
