Chance Thomas and Devin Malone each scored a pair of goals and four Panther seniors said goodbye with an 8-0 whitewash of Harding Thursday afternoon.
Thomas, Bartlett’s leading scorers, got two of the Panther’s four first-half goals while Malone split his between the periods.
Joseph Henry found Thomas for the game’s opening score and Bartlett never looked back. Devin Malone got an assist from Josue Salas to make it 2-0 and Thomas hit a rocket for a 3-0 lead. Caleb Carter closed out scoring with a shot to make it 4-0 at intermission.
“We were hitting rockets out there,” Coach Robby Midyett said.
Bartlett wasn’t through. Justin Raines got an assist from Chance Thomas and Thomas found Malone minutes later. Andrew Thornton was assisted by Spencer Smith for a diving header Midyett described as the best of the season for a 7-0 margin while David Erazo closed out scoring.
Bartlett dropped Lausanne Collegiate Academy 6-1 earlier in the week and head in district play next week at Panther field.
